College
Two-year starter awarded All-Conference honors as a special-teams
player last season. Pass-catching numbers were 56/836/4 as a senior
when he averaged 12.9 yards on 11 punt returns with an additional
score. Junior receiving totals were 51/666/5.
Pos:
Vertical receiver who’s flashed a lot of skill the past two
seasons. Quickly releases off the line, is sharp running routes and
gets separation from opponents. Makes effective use of the sidelines,
playing with outstanding balance and body control. Easily adjusts to
the errant throw and effortlessly makes the reception in stride. Comes
back into the clearing, uses his frame to shield away opponents and
extends, making the reception with his hands. Quickly transitions from
catching the ball to running after the catch.
Neg:
Not a sturdy pass-catcher who can take a big hit. Struggles getting
off jams at the line. Has been dinged up throughout his college
career. |
